Al Seibert - Director of Basketball Operations - Iowa
Iowa DOBO Al Seibert has been with the program for the past 11 years and has more than 18 years of experience on the sideline. Seibert has helped boost the hawkeyes back to a national presence, including record win totals. Most notable is Seibert’s versatility in the industry, serving as a head coach for multiple colleges, acting as a recruiting expert for Insiders Report, and working with numerous NBA draftees, including Derrick Alston, Erik Mobley, Ben Davis, and Lee Nailon.
Alex Accetta - Director of Basketball Operations - Alabama
Heading into her seventh year with the Alabama Men’s Basketball Program, Alex Accetta is a rising star in college basketball. Accetta is one of less than 50 women who are members of a Division I men’s basketball staff. She currently manages the program budget, the personal schedule of head coach Nate Oats, the program schedule, ticket coordination, and numerous other roles. With this, Accetta operates multiple events for the program throughout the year, such as Pro Day and Alabama basketball camps. Before Alabama, Accetta spent three years working closely with Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman, who was the head coach and assistant general manager with the Texas Legends of the NBA G-League.
Andrew Dakich - Director of Basketball Operations - Elon
After earning minutes for both Michigan and Ohio State as a player, Andrew Dakich began his coaching career immediately. Now he heads into his second season with Elon and is a rising star in the coaching world. Coming from a basketball family, Dakich has quickly shown he is valuable on the sideline as well as an athlete. Look out for his name in years to come.
Andrew Lentz - Assistant AD for Basketball - Louisville
Louisville Assistant AD for Basketball Andrew Lentz is headed into his fourth year with the cardinals and is a stock riser in not just college basketball but college athletics as a whole. Lentz has made a name for himself as a specialist in social media and brand management. His role at Louisville is unique and while he still holds many administrative duties, his focus for the program is on the creative side, leading creative initiatives and building social content. During his time, Lentz has helped the Louisville Men’s Basketball program almost triple their twitter following, which plays a valuable role in recruiting.
Andy Assaley - Director of Basketball Operations - South Carolina
For the last decade South Carolina DOBO Andy Assaley has worked behind the scenes for the Gamecocks. While organizing the program schedules, budget management, team events, and team travel is already a heavy workload, Assaley also plays a pivotal role in film breakdown, helping with video coordination and scouting. Off the court he has been a key factor in helping the USC athletes excel in the classroom as well. Assaley spent 5 years with Head Coach Frank Martin at Kansas State putting them at 15 years on the sideline together.
Andy Farrell - Special Assistant & Recruiting Coordinator - Dayton
Entering his fifth year as a member of the Dayton Men’s Basketball staff, Andy Farrell is emerging as a young coach with a bright future. After two years as the program’s director of scouting, Farrell was promoted to his current position, where he has helped Dayton stay atop of the A10 Conference. During the 2019 season the Flyers ended with the best record in school history and a 3rd place AP finish before Covid-19 cancelled the NCAA and conference tournaments.
Arleshia Davidson - Director of Program Administration - Villanova
Former Florida State basketball standout Arleshia Davidson has been with the Villanova Men’s Basketball program since 2009, where she has made a great impact. So much so that in 2017, Villanova created the “Director of Program Administration” role for her to fill. In this position, Davidson assists Coach Wright directly, including oversight of day-to-day operations of Villanova Basketball, academic support, event planning, management and ticketing, and more. Prior to this she acted as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach. After 11 years with the Wildcats, Davidson continues to play a pivotal role in the program.
Armond Hill - Director of Basketball Administration - Indiana
One of the most experienced and decorated coaches to make this list, Indiana Director of Basketball Administration Armond Hill has dedicated almost 50 years to the game of basketball at all levels. Hill has held positions as both an assistant and head college coach, while also spending 15 years in the NBA, where he won a championship with the Boston Celtics. As a player, Hill was an Ivy League MVP and went on to play in the NBA from 1976 to 1984. Hill brings valuable insight to the Indiana sideline and will make an immediate impact on the program.
Barb Kellaher - Director of Basketball Administration - Marquette
Entering her 20th season with the Marquette Men’s Basketball Program, Barb Kellher is near the top of the list in experience. Kellaher wears many hats for the Golden Eagles, supervising the daily operations of the men's basketball office and the office staff, including the management of team travel and meals during the season, as well as personally assisting head coach Shaka Smart with his summer camps, recruiting travel, daily scheduling, correspondence and arrangement of speaking engagements and special events. In 2010 Kellaher was promoted to Director of Basketball Administration.
Bob Donewald Jr. - Special Assistant to the Head Coach - Texas
Bob Donewald Jr. boasts an impressive resume with 22 years of experience coaching at the college and pro levels. Currently acting as the Special Assistant to The Head Coach, Donewald Jr. is a valuable part of the recruiting and X & Os process for the Longhorns. Since becoming the assistant coach for Morehead State in 1994, Donewald Jr has gone on to coach for 3 NBA teams, and more than 10 international or G League teams. With his versatile experience and pro connections, Donewald Jr. will continue to be a valuable asset for Coach Chris Beard and the Texas Longhorns.
Brad Soderberg - Director of Scouting - Virginia
Virginia’s Director of Scouting, Brad Soderberg, has more than 25 years of experience in the college ranks, spending the last seven with the Cavaliers. A current member of the Wisconsin Coaches Hall of Fame, Soderberg has been a head coach at multiple different levels of the game, including NAIA, D2 and D1. Having played for Coach Dick Bennett, Soderberg later joined the longtime coach at Wisconsin as an assistant coach, alongside Bennett’s son and current Virginia Head Coach, Tony Bennett. In 19 years as a head coach, Soderberg has won 60 percent of his games. As an assistant, he has helped Virginia remain a top program in the country each year.
Casey Brinn - Director of Basketball Operations - Harvard
Entering his sixth season at Harvard, Casey Brinn has helped Harvard jump to the top of the Ivy league, winning two of the last three Ivy League Championships. Brinn is nearing ten years of experience at the collegiate level, spending time with Rider University and The University of Southern Maine. As an Ivy League DOBO, Brinn runs basketball operations while also playing a large role in the teams’ academic success.
Chad Prewett - Director of Operations & Chief of Staff - Auburn
Chad Prewett, Director of Operations for the Auburn Men’s Basketball Program, has spent the past seven years on staff with the Tigers. During this time he has been versatile in his roles, acting as a special assistant, interim assistant coach, and a DOBO. As an assistant, Prewett played a large role in the development of the guards and helped implement their Zone defense. He currently oversees the schedules, travel, budget, key fundraising and charity events, and more for the program. During his time at Auburn, the Tigers have boasted some of their best seasons in program history.
Chris Woolard - Associate AD for Basketball Operations - Kentucky
Heading into his 10th season with Kentucky Men’s Basketball, Associate AS for Basketball Operations Chris Woolard has played a pivotal role in the success of the Wildcat’s. As Associate AD for Basketball, Woolard brings experience as a coach and an administrator. Prior to Kentucky he worked for Conference USA as an associate commissioner. While his work with the team is widespread, Woolard also acts as the Executive Director of the Calipari Foundation, a non profit organization founded by Head Coach John Calipari and his wife Ellen.
Cowan Olinger - Director of Basketball Operations - Miami Ohio
Back at Miami Ohio for his fourth season, Director of Basketball Operations Cowan Olinger continues to rapidly climb up the ranks. Starting as a student manager for the Purdue Men’s Basketball Program, Olinger is now responsible for the behind the scenes and video operations of the Redhawks program. This includes film breakdown of practices, games and opponent film, along with film exchange between schools. He also assists the coaching staff with opponent scout preparations and maintaining the recruiting database. Cowan is a bright young star in college basketball.
Curran Walsh - Director of Basketball Operations - Utah
A new hire headed into his first year at Utah, Director of Basketball Operations Curran Walsh joins the Utes after spending the past two seasons with Utah State. Walsh is a stock riser with great potential to be a big name at the D1 level. As the Director of Player Development at Utah State he played a huge role in guiding All-American Sam Merrill through his 2020 NBA Pre Draft training program before Merrill became the first Utah State player drafted to the NBA since 1986. Before Utah State, Walsh held multiple responsibilities for LMU from 2017-2019, including help with operations and coaching.
Dale Layer- Special Assistant to the Head Coach - Texas A&M
Entering his third season with Texas A&M, Special Assistant to the Head Coach Dale Layer brings over 30 years of coaching experience to the Aggies sideline. Layer has been with Head Coach Buzz Williams in some capacity over the years, including hiring Williams as an assistant coach at Colorado State. Layer has made stops at Eckerd, Queens, CSU, Liberty, Marquette and Virginia Tech. He also brings pro basketball experience, having served as an assistant coach for the Greensboro Swarm of the NBA G League.
Dan Sheets - Director of Basketball Operations - St Mary’s
Dan Sheets, a NorCal native and five year player for the Gaels, has quickly become an important member of the coaching staff for St Mary’s. Sheets has transitioned from player, to graduate assistant, to DOBO in a short amount of time and has a great amount of potential as a young coach. Spending a summer at the grassroots level before joining the Gaels, sheets made strong connections at the highest level and developed even further as a coach.
David Egelhoff - Director of Basketball Operations - Ohio State
For the past 24 years Ohio State Men’s Basketball Director of Basketball Operations, David Egelhoff, has been dedicated to the Buckeyes Program. Starting as a Student Manager for the program in 1998, Egehoff then became a video coordinator. After a one year stint with the Orlando Magic, Egelhoff returned to Ohio State as the DOBO and there was no looking back. He currently runs the day-to-day operations of the program and acts as the main liaison between the team and other areas in the athletics department and university. Egelhoff is also in charge of budget management, traveling, scheduling, and more.
Derrick Wrobel - Recruiting Coordinator - Washington State
Coming in as a new face for the Washington State Men’s Basketball Program, Recruiting Coordinator Derrick Wrobel is certainly not a rookie. Wrobel brings 14 years of coaching experience to the Cougars with a resume that includes stops at Arizona State, Cal, and St. Johns. He has knowledge in both the operations side and on the sideline and brings valuable experience in international recruiting with his work in Global Connections.
Doug Erickson - Director of Basketball Administration - UCLA
One of the most experienced coaches & administrators in all of college basketball, UCLA Director of Basketball Administration Doug Erickson has spent 30 years working with the Bruins Men’s Basketball Program. In his current role, Erickson oversees the internal operations of the basketball program and serves as a liaison between the coaches and department administrators. He is also involved in the day-to-day operations of the team, including team budget, travel, meals, ticketing, housing and more. With this, he also serves as the co-director of the UCLA basketball camp each summer. During his time with the program, he has been a part of 18 NCAA Tournament appearances, including a National Championship in 1995.
Elliot Bloom- Director of Men's Basketball Administration and Operations- Purdue
With 21 years of experience overall at Purdue, Bloom is stepping into his 14th season as the Director of Men’s Basketball. In his current role, Bloom serves as the program’s point person for scheduling and team travel, while also assisting in recruiting efforts and coordinating the team’s weekly schedule. He also oversees Purdue’s team of undergraduate student managers. He was also the key point of contact for the Boilermakers’ trips to Australia in 2008, Italy in 2012 and Spain in 2016. He handled the logistics for Purdue’s trip to Taipei in August 2017 as part of the World University Games.
Fred Quartlebaum- Director of Basketball Operations- Kansas
After being with the Jayhawks since 201, Fred Quartlebaum was hired as the director of basketball operations in 2020. In this he handles many day-in and day-out logistics and procedures with the student-athletes and staff. Quartlebaum heading KU men’s basketball’s social injustice initiatives to educate and act toward the issues that have arisen in the U.S. In seven seasons at KU, Quartlebaum has been part of six Big 12 regular-season championships, two Big 12 Tournament titles, five in-season tourney titles, three NCAA Championship Elite Eights and one Final Four in 2018.
Hollis Price- Special Assistant to the Head Coach- Houston
Hollis Price joined the University of Houston Men’s Basketball program in May 2014 as its director of player development to be later hired as the special assistant to the head coach in May of 2021. During his time at Houston the Cougars have won 20+ games in six consecutive seasons, a first in program history, captured back-to-back American Athletic Conference championships and won the 2021 American Athletic Conference Championship title. Price entered the coaching ranks with the Legends after a nine-year professional career overseas. He was honored as the Most Valuable Player of the Lithuania Basketball League and competed in several international competitions, including the France Cup and the Germany Cup.
Jared Nuness- Special Assistant and Director of Player Development- Baylor
Jared Nuness enters his 12th year on the Baylor basketball staff and his fifth season as special assistant & director of player development in 2021-22. Nuness was promoted to his current position prior to the 2017-18 season after five years as director of player personnel, and he spent his first two years on Baylor’s staff as the director of video operations. He also has helped guide the Bears to nine consecutive postseason appearances, including the 2021 National Championship, three Elite Eights, five Sweet 16s and an NIT title. BU also won its first conference title in 71 years with the 2021 Big 12 championship. In his 11 seasons on staff, the Bears have averaged 24 wins per season with a combined 263-112 record, including a 20-7 postseason mark.
Jay Smith- Director of Player Personnel & Development- Michigan
With over four decades of experience coaching at all three NCAA collegiate levels, Jay Smith returned to the Michigan basketball program as the director of player personnel and development. Early in his 36 year coaching career, Smith was an assistant coach at Michigan for seven seasons (1989-96) where he helped the Wolverines to six NCAA Tournaments, two Final Four and assisted in recruiting what some consider to be "the greatest class ever recruited" in U-M's famed "Fab Five." Prior to his return to U-M, Smith spent the last three seasons as the head coach at Kalamazoo College (2016-19). In his first season, he guided the Hornets to a four-win improvement and to a tie for sixth place in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association, the program’s best finish since 2011.
Jason Gardner- Director of Player Relations- Arizona
Named director of player relations in August of 2021, Jason Gardner returned to his alma mater after his professional overseas career and being the head coach at IUPUI for five seasons. Gardner was most recently the head boys basketball coach at North Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana during the 2020-21 season. During his high school playing career at North Central, Gardner won a state title, was named the 1999 IndyStar Mr. Basketball and earned McDonald's and Parade All-American honors. Following his four-year standout career at Arizona, he played professionally overseas for eight seasons. He was named MVP of the German Basketball Bundesliga in 2009 and was a two-time all-star in the Bundesliga.
Jeff Vanderloo- Director of Basketball Operations- Creighton
Jeff Vanderloo enters his 11th season as Creighton’s director of basketball operations. He helps handle Creighton travel and logistics among his many duties. He also helps organize and work Creighton’s summer camps. Before his time at Creighton, Vanderloo spent the previous 19 seasons as the head coach at Sioux City (Iowa) East High School, where he led the Black Raiders to 295 wins and eight state tournament appearances, and helped develop 36 players who went on to play in college. He is the winningest boys high school basketball coach in Sioux City history and was inducted into the IHSAA Hall of Fame as a coach in the spring of 2015.
Jeremy Kipness- Recruiting Coordinator- Memphis
After being the graduate assistant during the 2020-21 season Jeremy Kipness joined head coach Penny Hardaway’s staff as the recruiting coordinator. Before coming to Memphis, Kipness spent four seasons (2016-20) serving as Program Director and Head Coach of a national prep powerhouse Aspire Academy. In his four seasons as the head coach of Aspire Academy’s national high school team, they compiled an 82-51 record while playing one of the toughest schedules in the country. This included four-straight appearances in the Grind Session World Championships, highlighted by a run to the Championship Game in 2017-18.
John Impelman- Director of Operations- Pepperdine
John Impelman is entering his 13th season with the Pepperdine men’s basketball team and has had many many different roles with the Waves, currently acting as the Director of Basketball Operations. Impelman joined Pepperdine in 2008-09 as the team operations assistant/video coordinator under Tom Asbury. After leaving for a season, he came back as the director of operations for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 seasons. Impelman was promoted to assistant coach in 2013-14 by former head coach Marty Wilson, a position he held for five seasons. He was retained by Lorenzo Romar in 2018.
Jordan Verhulst - Director of Scouting - Memphis
Jordan Verhulst rejoins the Memphis staff as the Director of Scouting with almost 12 years of experience on the sideline. Prior to his most recent hire, Verhulst spent time as the Head Assistant Coach for Chipola College, An Assistant Coach for the NBA G-League’s Grand Rapids Drive, an Assistant for Grand Valley State, and five years with Memphis. Verhulst has a versatile resume with both operations and on court experience.
Jorge Sanz - Director of Basketball Operations - Gonzaga
Heading into his fourth season under Mark Few at Gonzaga, Director of Basketball Operations Jorge Sanz has compiled an impressive 12 year resume. Prior to his work with The Zags, Sanz spent eight seasons at Florida Atlantic University. Sanz also brings extensive overseas knowledge as a native of Zaragoza, Spain, and has served as a Spanish national team coach, earning the title of Entrenador Superior, the highest level of coaching certification in Spain. Sanz continues a long line of international recruiting for the Zags, something that has been a staple in their success.
Josh Eilert - Director of Basketball Operations - West Virginia
Director of Basketball Operations Josh Eilert has had an impressive career, spending the past 15 years with the West Virginia men’s Basketball Program. A rarity in college basketball, Eilert has spent his entire full time coaching career under one roof after coming to WVU following a year as the graduate assistant for Kansas State under Bob Huggins. During his time with the Mountaineers, WVU has won the 2010 Big East Championship and have earned 10 NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2010 Final Four and five NCAA Sweet 16s.
Josh Jamieson - Director of Basketball Operations - Oregon
Josh Jamieson has spent almost 20 years involved with the Ducks and the past 17 in a full time capacity. An Oregonian since birth, Jamieson has been a staple in the PNW basketball scene and has helped shape the Oregon basketball program into what it is today. As the DOBO, his duties include scheduling, coordinating the team’s travel, budgeting, academic support, and equipment oversight. Jamieson also serves as the Director of Oregon Basketball Camps.
Larry Mangino - Director of Player Development - Virginia
With nearly 30 years on the sideline, Virginia’s Director of Player Development Larry Mangino is one of the most experienced coaches in the country. Entering his sixth season with the Cavaliers, Mangino has experience as a head college coach, assistant coach, and two years as an NBA Player Development Coach. He is as versatile as they come with experience as an athletic director and ops as well. Mangino brings a vast recruiting network and a great ability to develop athletes.
Marc VandeWettering - Director of Basketball Operations - Wisconsin
Returning to his alma mater in 2017 Marc VandeWettering will be entering his fifth season as Director of Basketball Operations for Wisconsin. The 2019-20 season will be VandeWettering's eighth season overall working with the Wisconsin men's basketball program. He spent two years as the team's assistant, including the 2014-15 season during which the Badgers reached the 2015 National Championship game. As the program assistant, VandeWettering worked in concert with the director of basketball operations handling day-to-day scheduling and administrative responsibilities.
Mary-Carter Eggert- Director of Basketball Operations- Tennessee
As a two time graduate of Tennessee Mary-Carter Eggert is entering her seventh year as the Director of Basketball Operations. Eggert oversees all logistical aspects of the program’s day-to-day operations, including budget, travel and meals. She also manages the schedule of head coach Rick Barnes. Eggert is one of only two women holding the role of director of basketball operations with a men’s program at a “major conference” schoolBefore her current position she spent three years as an assistant director on the school media relations staff. In that role, she handled all administrative duties for the athletic communications staff, served as the media relations contact for the Tennessee rowing program and planned and executed the annual Big Orange Caravan summer outreach tour.
Matt Elkin - Director of Men’s Basketball - Yale
Joining the Yale Men’s Basketball Program in 2020, Director of Basketball Operations Matt Elkin is a young star in the industry. Elkin has taken no shortcuts in this career, starting as a team manager for the Wisconsin Badgers in 2011. From there he became a graduate assistant and head team manager for Edgewood College, helping the team make the National Championship game. Following this, Elkin gained experience on the prep and operations side with Vermont Academy where he not only taught but also played a large role in the development of the academy’s top athletes. Before becoming a part of the Yale staff, Elkin was an assistant coach at Los Angeles powerhouse Windward School, while also coaching at the Under Armour Association level with West Coast Elite. His variety of stops have helped him to build a vast recruiting network and valuable experience as a coach.
Matt Pappano- Director of Basketball Operations- St. Bonaventure
As a graduate of St. Bonaventure in 2007, Matt Pappano entered his 13th season as Director of Basketball Operations under head coach Mark Schmidt. In addition to day-to-day administrative responsibilities, Pappano also assists players with academic responsibilities, coordinates scouting and film preparation, handles the scheduling of non-conference opponents, arranges team travel, serves as the team’s liaison to Adidas, manages the student assistant staff and assists with donor stewardship and alumni relations. With Pappano's help, St. Bonaventure has become a consistent winner in the Atlantic 10. The team improved its conference win total in five straight seasons, starting in 2007-08 and culminating in the magical 2011-12 campaign.
Matt Soria- Assistant AD/Director of Basketball Operations- SD State
Matt Soria begins his 22nd year with the San Diego State men’s basketball program and his 15th as the director of basketball operations. In 2015-16, Soria had assistant athletic director added to his title. He helped San Diego State men’s basketball join the Jordan Brand roster, which was announced in April of 2018. With the announcement, SDSU became the eighth men’s basketball team in the Jordan lineup. The Aztecs wear the latest Jordan Brand performance footwear and all on-court apparel including uniforms, practice gear and travel attire.
Michael Swets- Director of Operations- USC
Since being named Director of Operations in 2016, Michael Swets will be entering his sixth season with the Trojans. Swets handles team travel arrangements, manages the program’s budget, works on the Trojan’s non-conference schedule, coordinates the daily schedule and oversees the team of student managers. He also acts as the program’s liaison to many of the other departments within athletics as well as the rest of the campus community. He also leads the community outreach endeavors for the USC men’s basketball program. Prior to his arrival at USC, Swets served as the Director of Operations for the Towson basketball program from 2012-2016, which marked the winningest four-year period in the history of the program with 75 wins.
Mike Ekanem - Director of Player Development - Arkansas
While he is a new hire for Coach Eric Mussleman and the Arkansas staff, Director of Player Development Mike Ekanem is not short on experience. The 2005 Texas Lutheran Grad and All Conference hooper started his coaching career at the professional level as a Director of Video and Athletic Performance with the San Antonio Spurs (NBA) and San Antonio Stars (WNBA). Following his six seasons with the organization, Ekanem joined the Louisiana Tech Women’s program as an assistant coach before joining the Memphis Men’s Basketball Program as a Special Assistant. Playing professionally himself overseas, Ekanem brings a wide array of experience that stretches across multiple levels of the game.
Mike Furlong - Director of Student Athlete Development - Kansas State
Director of Student Athlete Development for the Kansas State Men’s Basketball Program Mike Furlong is entering his seventh season with the Wildcats. Beginning as a Graduate Assistant with the team in 2015, Furlong has moved up the ranks quickly, holding the Video Coordinator position for two years before his current role. In his current position, Furlong is responsible for a variety of areas, including basketball-related matters, handling special projects for the staff and assisting with community service projects and the Life Skills program. He is also involved in the student-athlete’s academic development and counseling each in career planning and goal setting. Furlong is on the rise and will be a coach to look out for in the future.
Pat Sullivan - Director of Recruiting - North Carolina
With more than 20 years of coaching experience, including 18 in the NBA, UNC’s Director of Recruiting, Pat Sullivan, is one of the top hires heading into the 2021-2022 season. Sullivan is a winner, playing in three FInal Fours (winning in 93) and coaching in two more, and winning an NBA championship. He has worked with and helped develop numerous NBA stars, including players such as Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Bradley Beal, Chauncey Billups, Reggie Bullock, Vince Carter and more. Sullivan’s connections at the collegiate level and experience in player development will make an immediate impact for the Tarheels.
Rem Bakamus - Director of Player Development - Arizona
First year Head Coach Tommy Lloyd has a rising star in Director of Player Development Rem Bakamus. After spending five years playing under Mark Few at Gonzaga, Bakamus joined the Baylor Men’s Basketball Program as a Graduate Assistant for three seasons. Here he would help the Bears win a National Championship in 2021 and played a pivotal role in the development of star guards Davion Mitchell, MaCio Teague, Jared Butler, Adam Flagler and LJ Cryer. At Gonzaga Bakamus experienced his first National Championship game in 2017. Bakamus has made the NCAA tournament in every season as either a coach or a player and has worked with some of the nations top hoopers. A name to keep an eye out for in years to come.
Ryan Oliver- Director of Operations- UC Davis
Ryan Oliver has brought a lot of experience in his two years as Director of Operations. Oliver has experience at the international, Division III, junior college and high school levels. He assists the coaching staff with implementation and oversight of the program's operations, budget and organizes events that involve men's basketball's fan and alumni groups. When Oliver returned to the U.S. in 2018, he continued his coaching career as the co-director and head coach of the Spartans Elite Basketball Club, which led to Glendale College hiring him as an assistant basketball coach. Oliver will also serve as the video streaming liaison for the Big West Conference and coordinate the team's recruiting, travel, camps and clinics.
Sam Stapleton- Director of Operations- UC San Diego
Sam Stapleton enters his first season with UC San Diego men’s basketball as the program’s Director of Operations beginning in the fall of 2021. In this role, Stapleton is responsible for editing film, scouting, assisting with recruiting and player skill development, and coordinating team practices and day to day program operations. Prior to UC San Diego, Stapleton spent four seasons as an assistant coach at Cal State Dominguez Hills from 2017 to 2021. Stapleton helped the Toros to four consecutive California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament appearances and coached six all-conference selections as well as the program’s first CCAA Freshman of the Year.
Sean Sutton- Advisor to the Head Coach / Player Development- Texas Tech
Sean Sutton is in his fourth season on the Texas Tech men's basketball staff as an Advisor. In his current role, he is also responsible for player development. Sutton possesses 24 years of collegiate coaching experience and has either coached or played with 25 NBA players over his career. He has been a part of 15 NCAA Tournaments, nine NCAA Sweet 16s, five NITs, five NCAA Elite Eights and three NCAA Final Fours as a student-athlete and coach. Sutton has piled up 533 victories during his coaching career after helping lead the Red Raiders to the 2019 NCAA National Championship Final and 2018 NCAA Elite Eight.
Sasha Brown- Director of Operations- Vanderbilt
Shasha Brown is in his third season at Vanderbilt in 2021-22 as the director of men’s basketball operations. Brown came to the Commodores after serving as the coordinator for youth development with the NBA, and coach for the nationally-recognized New York-based Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) travel team, the Pro Scholar Athletes Cardinals. In his current role, Brown coordinates team travel, and oversees team workouts and practice schedules, opponents’ practice schedules, game day operations, and team managers. He also assists with branding and marketing efforts, on-campus recruiting, and academics.
Will Vergollo- Basketball Analyst- Butler
Will Vergollo enters his fifth season at Butler. This will be his fourth season serving as the program's Basketball Analyst. Vergollo spent the 2020-21 season as an assistant coach in an interim capacity following the retirement of Jeff Meyer. In his analyst role for Butler, Vergollo oversees video operations and analytics, while assisting with preparation of scouting reports. The 2019-20 Bulldogs finished the season 22-9 and ranked in the Top 25 of both national polls. The Bulldogs were included in every 2020 NCAA Tournament projection before the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the remainder of the season.
Brain Walsh - Recruiting Coordinator - Indiana
Heading into his fifth season at Indiana and first as the Recruiting Coordinator, Brian Walsh is a rising star in college basketball. The former Xavier and Akron 3pt specialist spent three years at Dayton before joining Indiana. At Dayton, Walsh finished as the assistant Director of Basketball Operations, a role that allowed him to earn experience in every part of the program, including underclassman recruiting, on campus recruiting, day-to-day administrative duties, academic services, housing, camp coordinator, and more. Walsh Is moving quickly through the ranks and is a coach to keep on your radar.
